Ingredients

6 eggs, whisked

2 Tablespoons milk (optional)

1 1/2 cups of shredded cheese

1 teaspoon of your favorite spice (Italian seasoning, paprika or za'atar are some examples)

2 teaspoons chives, chopped

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/8 teaspoon pepper

Directions

Whisk the eggs and milk together in a medium bowl. Add cheese and stir. Add the spices, chives, salt and pepper and stir. Heat the waffle iron and spray with non-stick spray.

Pour one-fourth of the mixture into the waffle iron (or the appropriate amount for the size waffle iron you are using) and cook for 2-3 minutes or until golden.

Remove and repeat for the remaining batter. Serve the Cheese and Egg Waffles with chives and a drizzle of honey.

You can freeze these Cheese and Egg Waffles! Place them in a freezer-friendly bag and freeze for up to one month. Reheat them in the toaster for a crispy texture or microwave them for 30-60 seconds.
