2026 Ohio State Fair Featured Deviled Egg

OPA will continue its Ohio State Fair tradition by serving more than a dozen deviled egg flavors, including the featured 2026 flavor honoring America’s 250th birthday at the Deviled Egg HQ

The Ohio Poultry Association (OPA) unveiled the 2026 Ohio State Fair featured deviled egg flavor, Birthday Cake, in honor of America’s 250th birthday. The 2026 featured flavor will make its public debut when the fair opens on Wednesday, July 29. In addition to Birthday Cake Deviled Eggs, OPA will offer more than a dozen deviled egg flavors, including a new Americana deviled egg flight to commemorate America’s 250th birthday, available exclusively at the Deviled Egg Headquarters (HQ), located next to the brand-new Ohio Agriculture Center.

“As America marks its 250th anniversary, we’re proud to celebrate the farmers and traditions that have made eggs a staple on tables for generations,” said Jim Chakeres, OPA executive vice president. “From everyday meals to special family gatherings, eggs provide high-quality protein and essential nutrients at a great value. We’re excited for fairgoers to experience our unique new deviled egg flavors, inspired by America’s favorite cookout traditions, and discover a fresh twist on this timeless classic.”

2026 Deviled Egg Fair Flavor and America 250 Flight

America is marking 250 years, and this is a celebration that calls for cake! OPA’s Birthday Cake Deviled Egg features sweet vanilla cake flavor topped with an icing drizzle and red, white and blue sprinkles – a perfect combination that’s both comforting and festive. Birthday Deviled Eggs will be sold individually or as part of a new America 250 deviled egg flight, including the following flavors:

• Apple Pie – Brown sugar and cinnamon filled egg topped with apple pie filling and pie crust

• Mac & Cheese – Tender pasta and rich, creamy cheese sauce

• Hot Dog – Mini hot dog served with a side of ketchup and mustard

• Ranch – Zesty ranch flavor topped with a crunchy corn chip

• Brisket – Melt-in-your-mouth BBQ flavor garnished with brisket, BBQ Sauce, and a pickle!

Visit OPA’s Food Booths in the New Ohio Agriculture Center

OPA is continuing the tradition of its two food booths: the Poultry food stand and Deviled Egg HQ. The Poultry food stand will feature protein-packed dishes sourced directly from Ohio chicken and turkey farmers. Fairgoers can enjoy breakfast from 8 – 11 a.m. at the Poultry food stand, and lunch and dinner from 11 a.m. – 9 p.m. The lunch and dinner menu will feature classic favorites such as Shredded Chicken Sandwiches, Grilled Chicken Breasts, Thanksgiving Dinner, Chicken and Noodle Bowls and One-Pound Turkey Wings, along with a few new items:

• Tot-Cho Bowl – Tater tots topped with taco seasoned chicken, salsa, cheese and sour cream

• Crispy Chicken Wrap – Crispy chicken, lettuce, cheese, tomato, ranch in a flour tortilla. Fairgoers will have the option to add BBQ or Buffalo sauce

Deviled Egg HQ is open from 10:30 a.m. – 9 p.m. daily and will offer individual deviled eggs and deviled egg flights, including this year's America 250 flight, as well as the following flights (flavors subject to change based on availability):

• Ohio State Fair Favorites Flight (one of each): Dill Pickle, Columbus Pizza, Hot Honey Everything, Hot Dog, Buffalo Chicken, and Maple Bacon Crunch

• New Flavor Flight (one of each): Pineapple Habanero, Cincinnati Chili, Brisket, French Onion, Mac & Cheese, and Ranch

• Classic Egg Six-Pack
