Meet Hollie, the quality and formulations manager at Cooper Farms. While Hollie has been an employee for over 20 years, her connection to the Cooper family goes even deeper. Hollie grew up around the family, including having Dianne Cooper as her Girl Scout leader and Ada Cooper as her softball coach. Although she had a connection with the family, Hollie didn’t anticipate her career would eventually tie in with them. Now, Hollie uses her biochemistry degree from Wright State University to provide high-quality nutrition to every bird under her care. During her time at Cooper Farms, Hollie has discovered her passion for overseeing the well-being of the birds.

While no two days are the same at Cooper Farms, she finds solace from the busy days by showing her nationally competitive Silver Fox Rabbits. This heritage breed, traced back to Canton, Ohio, in 1929, has become a passion for Hollie. At the 2024 American Rabbit Breeders Association (ARBA) Convention in Louisville, Kentucky, three of her rabbits placed in the top three of their breed, with over 240 entrants in the breed category and more than 27,000 rabbits overall. Hollie’s interest in rabbits was fueled by her two daughters’ involvement in 4-H, and today she raises 25 rabbits on their generational farm in New Bremen, Ohio.

Hollie, thank you for your dedication to ensuring quality ingredients go into the feed that nourishes the animals at Cooper Farms.
