We would like to introduce Natalie and share the incredible work she is doing on the farm. Her dedication to animal welfare and her love of music is combined in a unique way as she knows her hen’s favorite band! The Beatles are a fan favorite on the farm.
She came to Outward Farms upon graduation from the University of Cincinnati, where she triple minored in environmental science, geography, and communications. Her background has allowed her to approach animal care from multiple perspectives. Natalie says that her mission is always to keep her chickens happy, even using out-of- the box tactics such as playing music for them (Taylor Swift - if you’re reading this, Natalie would love you to come perform for the chickens).
Chickens aren’t the only animal Natalie looks after. At home she cares for dogs, a ball python named Jack Sparrow and some “vintage” three-legged cats.
Natalie loves being able to pursue her passions at Outward farms and is excited about bringing the community in to learn more once their education center opens. Kudos to Natalie for her efforts and being such a positive force in animal welfare.
