Bacon, Egg and Cheese Sandwich Deviled Eggs

Ingredients

6 hard boiled eggs
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1 tsp yellow mustard
1/4 cup cheddar cheese, finely shredded
4 bacon strips
1 tsp butter
2 tbsp panko breadcrumbs.
salt, pinch

Directions

  • Hard boil the eggs. You can find our favorite method here!
  • Cut hard boiled eggs in half lengthwise. Carefully place the egg whites on a serving tray and scoop the yolks into a medium-sized bowl.
  • To the yolks, mix in the mayonnaise and mustard. Stir until well combined and then add in the shredded cheese and 2 slices of bacon, chopped. Refrigerate mixture and make panko bread crumbs.
  • In a saucepan over medium heat, melt 1 tsp. butter. Add in the panko breadcrumbs and cook until browned, about 5 minutes, stirring frequently. Sprinkle the mixture with a pinch of salt and set aside to cool.
  • To assemble the eggs, place a spoonful of the yolk mixture into each egg white shell. Top with a spoonful of panko breadcrumbs and a small slice of bacon on top. Serve right away!

Notes

*Note: If serving later, add panko and bacon right before serving.
