Eggnog Deviled Eggs

Ingredients

6 hard cooked eggs, cut in half lengthwise, whites and yolks separated
2-3 tablespoons eggnog
4oz. Cream cheese, room temperature
3 tablespoons powdered sugar
Pinch of salt, nutmeg and cinnamon
1 scant teaspoon Bourbon (optional) or vanilla

Garnish

Grated whole nutmeg and grated semi-sweet or bittersweet chocolate

Directions

  • Place egg whites on a serving platter
  • In a small bowl or food processor place the egg yolks and mash the yolks until a smooth consistency. Stir in remaining ingredients until evenly incorporated.
  • Place the yolk mixture in a piping bag and pipe mixture into the egg whites.
  • As a garnish grate some nutmeg evenly over the eggs and sprinkle with some grated chocolate.
