Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 °F.
- Blend the cake flour and powdered sugar together – set aside.
- Beat egg whites with the cream of tartar and salt until frothy – then slowly add granulated sugar. Beat until it forms peaks.
- Fold in the flavorings. Fold in the flour and sugar mixture.
- Put in cake pan and bake at 350 °F for 35 minutes.
- When baking time is complete, turn cake over to cool.
- Once cooled, lightly ice the cake with the glaze.
