Ingredients
1 lb lean turkey, ground (93% lean) (We used Bowman & Landes )
Directions
Light grill and allow to heat to 400-450⁰F.
Dissolve the baking soda in 1-2 tsp of water and add to ground turkey in a large bowl.
Add all other ingredients to the bowl, combine, and mix thoroughly while being careful not to over mix.
Divide the ground turkey mixture into 4 equal patties and coat with an even layer of PAM spray on both sides.
Let rest for a minute and take this time to brush off the grill grates.
Grill patties 4-5 minutes on each side, until the internal temperature reaches 160⁰F.
Once the patties are done, remove from the grill and allow to rest for a few minutes.
Assemble burgers using your bread/bun of choice, along with your favorite burger toppings: i.e., lettuce, tomato, onion, and avocado.
Equipment needed: instant-read thermometer; grill (or skillet)
